Expedition Overview

This private expedition is designed for small luxury groups seeking maximum comfort in remote Mongolia. Every two guests travel in one dedicated 4x4 vehicle with a driver and guide support. A private cook and assistant travel with the group during the overland expedition sections.

Detailed Itinerary

Below is the standard 7-day operating itinerary used for private departures. Flight times may vary slightly depending on weather, landing permissions, payload, and final route planning.

Day 1

Ulaanbaatar → Gobi Desert

Helicopter: 2.5–3 hours 4x4 drive: about 3 hours Stay: Luxury Gobi camp
  • Morning private helicopter departure from Ulaanbaatar to Dalanzadgad or a suitable Gobi landing zone.
  • Arrival assistance and transfer into private Land Cruisers. VIP setup is based on two guests per vehicle.
  • Drive to the Khongor Sand Dunes region for afternoon desert exploration.
  • Activities include camel riding, panoramic dune viewpoints, sunset photography, and chef-served dinner.

Day 2

Full Gobi Exploration

Gobi → Bayan-Ulgii / Altai Region
